Plasma Pen benefits

Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International is the leading, cutting-edge, non-invasive, soft surgery skin treatment in the skin industry. Plasma Pen fibroblasting is an extremely adaptable and non-surgical technique that excels at smoothing wrinkles, tightening eyelids, and treating eyelid hoods (blepharoplasty). It revitalizes nearly any skin area, significantly enhancing and illuminating skin tone, firmness, and texture. This treatment also effectively tightens loose skin and dramatically reduces fine lines and wrinkles, giving a plumper appearance.

The Plasma Pen provides an instantly brighter, more contoured, and youthful look, with results that last impressively long—up to three years. It is a highly sought-after alternative to traditional surgery, offering a much lower cost and shorter recovery time.

What to expect after the treatment.

  • After a PlasmaPen treatment, you can expect mild redness, swelling, and small carbon crusts (tiny brown dots) on the treated area. These crusts will naturally fall off within 5-10 days, and it’s important to avoid picking at them for optimal healing. During this time, the area may feel tight as it begins to heal.

  • As the healing progresses, you’ll notice gradual tightening and improvement in skin texture over the following weeks. This is due to the increased collagen production stimulated by the treatment, which continues to develop for up to 8-12 weeks, revealing smoother, firmer, and rejuvenated skin.

Plasma Pen F.A.Qs

How long do the affects of Fibroblast Plasma Pen last?

It can vary from person to person, depending on their age, type of skin and their lifestyle choices. But in my experience, the affects are best from years 1 – 3, although for some people the effects can be very noticeable up to 5 years.

Is the treatment painful?

The skin is carefully prepared before the treatment to ensure maximum comfort. Most clients experience a slight tingling sensation, though it varies from person to person. Some even fall asleep during the procedure. On a discomfort scale from 1 to 10, it typically rates a 3.

How long is the treatment?

The duration of the treatment largely depends on the extent of the skin area being addressed. For example, treating the upper eyelids typically takes about two hours.

Will I be left with scars?

No! The tiny scabs that form on the skin’s surface will naturally fall off within 3 to 7 days on the face and up to 14 days on the body. Once these scabs shed, new pink skin will emerge, which will blend with your normal skin tone within 2 to 3 weeks.

How does the Plasma Pen compare to Botox and Fillers?

Non-surgical fibroblast skin tightening is also an affordable alternative to Botox, fillers – the cost savings are significant especially given the dramatic and long-lasting results (usually around 3 years with many results permanent!).

How does the Plasma Pen compare to surgical procedures?

The effects achieved by this treatment are comparable to that of surgery but has many advantages over such invasive methods:

  • The only treatment outside plastic surgery which can be performed on the eyelids
  • No injectable/general anaesthetic required
  • No scalpels, no cutting of the skin, no ablation and no scarring
  • No stitches/sutures required post-treatment
  • Very low risk procedure without medical risk or potentially life changing complications
  • Minimal side effect and very short downtimes
  • Quick and easy procedure with rapid recovery, most clients are able to return to work the same day
  • More uniform than ablative resurfacing using lasers
  • We are able to treat the delicate eye area safely, as well as practically any area of the skin/body
  • No thinning of the skin and more uniform than ablative resurfacing using laser
  • No risk of asymmetry or overcorrection
  • Enormous cost saving compared to comparable alternatives
  • Long-lasting results
